iCal 7:00 PM. Schoodic Summer Chorus [ME]: Simple Gifts, from Complications to Transformations. A diverse program including "Simple Gifts" (Joseph Brackett, 1848), Scaramella by Josquin de Prez and Ecco mormorar l'onde (Claudio Monteverdi, 1590), as well as "One Meatball", "Katy Cruel", Woyaya (Sol Amarifio, arr. Ysaye Barnwell) and "We Are Family" (Sister Sledge)—and much more. The performers are a multi-generational a capella community chorus devoted to nurturing musicianship and community, directed by singer and composer Anna Dembska, in residence at Hammond Hall in Winter Harbor, Maine and sponsored by Schoodic Arts for All.
